Hello, Welcome to the Sacred Heart Church website. We are a Catholic Parish in Southern Illinois that was formed in 1863. The founding pastor, Father Charles Klocke, died in 1911, after 43 years of dedicated service to the parish. Please read about our Sacred Heart of Jesus Congregation, now rich with a history of 162 years.

Rev. John Igwe C.M., Administrator was appointed to Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in summer of 2024.
